I have always been a creative type and have loved working with flowers since I was 17. My first job was as a Saturday girl in a florist in my local village. I got stuck in, preparing orders, serving customers and being exposed to wedding and funeral orders. I loved it! I then went off to University in Bournemouth to study a degree in Arts and Event Management and whilst I worked in the shop when I was home, at every opportunity, after 8 years I sadly left to pursue a full time job.
I worked in live events for 4 years, festivals, award shows and the like and then moved on to a Project Management role in digital marketing. 8 years and 2 babies later, redundancy directed me back to my true passion. Flowers.

So here I am, juggling life with 2 toddlers, loving the sporadic floristry work I'm lucky enough to get stuck in to. I'll always go above and beyond just because I enjoy what I do. I love to create event signage, elements for themed events and anything else that i can turn my hand to.

I've recently been training with the Sussex Flower School in Uckfield where I'm completing the Career Change Course. It's just the most wonderful way to spend my time and when I'm there it just cements in my head that this is what I should be doing. This is where my heart belongs.
